​The Scientific Computing Department provides a range of support activities to the wider computing community.

​Under funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), SCD is involved in three key computing projects. Services provided include support and training, software usage, data management, networks, web assistance and shared expertise.

    Software Engineering Support
    ​The Software Engineering Support Centre provides support to the UK academic community, with a focus on the CCP community in particular and is funded by EPSRC and provided by the Software Engineering Group with Scientific Computing at STFC.
