​​​​​​​​I graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master's degree in Physics in 2019, and joined SCD on the graduate scheme the same year.

The four 6 month projects I have worked on during the scheme have been within the SciML group, reducing noise on electron microscope images of graphene using convolutional neural networks; Data Services / Tier 1, developing the data management software Rucio for international scientific communities; Data and Software Engineering Group, developing the SciGateway and DataGateway applications for browsing and accessing facilities data; and I'm currently working in the Computational Chemistry Group on high dimensional neural network potentials for atomic energies. Additionally, I spent 3 months based in ISIS working on software for optimising molecular dynamics simulations using neutron spectroscopy data.​
