This meeting been organised by the Scientific Computing Department in collaboration with the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, and builds on the earlier series of very successful ISIS meetings to discuss computational techniques for muon spin relaxation experiments (μSR).
The Muon Site Calculation Meeting is being organised within the framework of a two-year grant from the Ada Lovelace Centre, whose main purpose is the development of a sustainable software platform for the various computational tools used in µSR. Our aim is to discuss the latest developments in µSR software and the applications of µSR in areas where simulations could be useful, as well as to establish the requirements that would: a) facilitate the integration of the different software tools and, b) make the µSR software more sustainable and user-friendly.
