​​Following a PhD from the University of Bologna, I worked as Research Associate at the University of Liverpool, University College London and Osaka University, and eventually as Faculty Member at the University of Liverpool (Stephenson Institute for Renewable Energy). I have recently joined the Theoretical and Computational Physics Group as Group Leader. I am interested in the development and application of  computational methods for theory and modelling of functional materials and their interfaces.
