Feckson is the Assistant Librarian in the Open Science Group, Scientific Computing Department. His role is to carry out accurate descriptions to resources so that they are discoverable by undertaking cataloguing and classification of all print, electronic and digital resources. Feckson is also responsible for management of records into ePubs; adding new records from WoS; linking preprints to journal articles; and checking for accuracy the author-added records into ePubs.

Feckson is a graduate of the University of Zambia with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Geography and Library Studies. He also studied in India for a postgraduate in Information Science. Feckson is also a graduate of the University of West London and holds an MA in Library and Information Management. He is a Chartered Member of CILIP. Feckson's career starts from the Tropical Diseases Research Centre Library in Zambia, the Department of Agricultural Research Library in Botswana, the City of London Libraries and finally the STFC library which he joined in 2014.​
