Programming Integrated Quantum and HPC systems with QODA
Valuable quantum applications will require tightly coupled quantum and classical computing resources each handling the parts of the workload that suits them best. Current quantum computing frameworks are not easily interoperable with classical computing tools, and are not built for high-performance computing. Additionally, quantum computers today are programmed in the equivalent of assembly code, which creates bottlenecks for their use by domain scientists. To help solve these problems, NVIDIA has recently announced QODA, a programming model enabling developers to easily program classical, simulated quantum, and physical quantum computers in the same high-level code. In this talk we will introduce QODA and discuss use cases where it will add value.
