​​I joined the STFC's Computing degree apprenticeship scheme in 2018 after completing an IT BTEC Level 3 course in college. As part of the apprenticeship I have done a number of 6 month rotations in different teams across the ISIS, Scientific Computing and Technology departments. During these rotations, I developed and looked after various front and back end software components.

I am currently in the Data & Software Engineering Group where I am completing the final year of my apprenticeship. I am working on a project that involves creating the PaNOSC/ ExPaNDS SearchAPI that will allow external EOSC services to find open data from our facilities.
